Bowman & Sons Chairman Opens Bowman Mews

Award winning developer Kier Homes asked Peter Loft, Chairman of E. Bowman & Sons, to officially open the new Bowman Mews development in Cherryholt Road, Stamford.
It seemed right and fitting that Mr. Loft be chosen to cut the ribbon as the new homes are being built on the site occupied by the Bowman family business for 124 years, prior to its sale to Kier Homes in 2010.
Bowman has been an institution in Stamford for many years and its ongoing commitment to the town extended to working with Kier to produce designs for the new homes that use the traditional Lincolnshire Limestone, so familiar to the company’s stonemasons, to blend perfectly with the special architectural vernacular of the town centre.
The result is a collection of just forty-five traditional town houses and apartments standing behind imposing wrought iron railings. Each of the new homes will have a landscaped front garden and private parking within the gates of the private development.
